At Couture Classique C.N. our trained and experienced seamstresses are able to make any article of clothing you may require. Professional dressmakers can create a unique dress or other garment for any special occasion – such as weddings or proms.
For clothing items that don’t fit you just right, we can make those fine adjustments that will make that dress, jacket or skirt look tailor made. We do alterations for any type of clothing for women, men or children.
We have expertise in tailoring leather apparel such as jackets, skirts, pants or other items. We are also experts in fine leather repair, alteration and restoration.
OUR HISTORY
The story of Couture Classique C.N. began in 1977, when owner Cheryl Thompson opened her own shop from her home in Montreal.
Cheryl received formal training as a seamstress starting from a very young age. The school she attended had compulsory sewing courses from grade one to graduation. Upon finishing school, she underwent a teaching program and became a school teacher. One of the subject she taught was sewing, including pattern making and dressmaking.
While teaching others the sewing trade, Cheryl continued to work as a seamstress making all kinds of clothing from scratch – as well as alterations for family and friends. This included the fine stitching of expensive gowns and finely cut men’s suits. Her expertise has brought her a steady flow of satisfied clients which continues today.
In 2014, Cheryl incorporated “Couture Classique C.N.” and set up shop in Pierrefonds where she is fulfilling all her client’s tailoring needs.
